harris teeter coupon report 8/12

went to the davidson harris teeter this morning.
had two questionable coupons, a printable 40¢/1 suddenly salad, said do not double on it.
maghen (my lovely young cashier) just scanned it and it went through and tripled!
next i was buying 2 pillsbury pizza crusts. they are bogof.
the coupon was 40¢/2.
again, scanned and tripled.
i love my davidson harris teeter.

note the tiny print at the bottom of the ad page.
for instance, the grands and cinnamon rolls are the 5 ct, crescents, 4 ct size!

can you believe that preston went to church last sunday and thanked everyone for praying for him? wow. he is a true miracle.

his dad journaled, "Prayer Warriors, Preston went to church on Sunday August the 9th. It was a great day. Not only did he go to church, he told the congregation he came to church to sing, “Today is the Day” (by Lincoln Brewster). He then proceeded to sing the chorus a cappella."

you have probably read about this promotion.
are you going to do it?
i didn't think i would until i "ran some numbers".
the only thing i really wanted was brownies, got to have brownies in the house AT ALL TIMES!
but when i figured the price -coupons, then i looked at buying some other stuff and getting the $5 back, the price was about the same.
so why not?
you can always donate the extras.

make sure to stop by the customer service desk at food lion to pick up the latest book "healthy community".
inside you will find store coupons for clorox wipes, greenworks cleaning products, ragu pasta sauce, lipton tea bags, lipton tea to go, breyers ice cream ($1.50/1!), and nature valley nut clusters.
these "store" coupons can be stacked, or used in addition to, any manufacturer coupon you may have.
there are also two manufacturer coupons that you could use anywhere. they are for frito variety packs or wheat thins and crystal light.

also, look for the "natures place" book. it contains manufacturer coupons for bear naked, red rose tea, and kashi cereals or snacks. i found this one near the checkout lanes in a basket.

and don't forget to check the beer section!
