awesome chicken tenders

i made these awesome chicken tenders last night.
the only problem with these is that i burnt my mouth because i couldn't wait to taste them.

the recipe is from the pioneer woman's website.
here lately, she's my inspiration.
she has great recipes using ingredients that are readily available.
and amazing photos. and cute stories. and humor.
*tip-this recipe calls for buttermilk, but how many of you have buttermilk in the fridge? not me. substitute 1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon lemon juice. let that sit for a few minutes. great results!

i went to the bloom on brawley school road and everyone was so nice and friendly.
no scrutinzing coupons and such.

here are some of the bargains i found:

jolly time popcorn bogof FREE with printable $1 coupon

kraft shredded cheese 4/$6 use 2 $1/2 printables for 50¢ cheese

smart balance cooking spray 3.19 - $1/1 10/18 rp = $1.19

method dish washing soap on clearance for $2.18 $1/1 printable = 18¢

i also had some $1.50/1 glade oil candle coupons, they were on sale, so i got those free.

melitta 40 ct coffee filters on sale for $1.49 $1/2 printable or 10/4 ss. final cost 49¢ each.

smithfield bacon bogof use the 55¢/1 10/25 ss = 1.39

i wish i would have had some muir glen printables $1/1 for cheap or free organic canned tomatoes.
maybe after church on sunday....

i finally got the 8 o'clock coffee coupon to print. it kept telling me i had already printed it. if you are having trouble....
use internet explorer, go to their website, scroll down to the bottom right, coupon link is there.

not advertised, but yummy. HT has spaghetti squash on sale 99¢/lb. top with spaghetti sauce or a shrimp scampi topping. delish.
