if you need some wine for your christmas dinner or a gift, let me remind you about the walmart wine.the brand is "oak leaf" and walmart has several varieties.
every one we have tried is quite tasty and my research tells me that they get good reviews from folks who really know wine.

the wines are amazingly priced at $2.97.
my favorite is the shiraz and my DH likes the cabernet sauvignon.
as for the whites, the zinfandel and pinot grigio are excellent.

I think I am a red wine drinker. It was good because Mick really liked it, but I was dreaming of the cabernet the whole time which Mick doesn't really like. So, I might try a chardonnay next time and let you know. It is all for research so we can give the people the best information!
DH went to Wal Mart to get a gift card and came home with the Pinot Grigio. We will open it later, so I'll let you know what we think. Oh and I might add here that he forgot the gift card...hehe!
