you know i have been buying lots of 24¢ mini wheats.
so i researched and this is what i found out:

-even though the expiration date they gave is past, it will still work (for how long, who knows???!)
-i bought 6 boxes total (4 on 6/25, 1 on 6/26, and 1 on 6/27...6 total)

target trip 6/27

stopped by target tonight for a fun family outing.
DD needed the new rolling stones magazine with none other than the jonas brothers on the front cover. hey, it's reading, right?

went for the razor/body wash deal. got it.
was looking for the solo bare plastic plates. gone.
did see that our target does have the little edy's cups for $1.19.
that's all folks!

look closely at your coupons before going to the mooresville harris teeter

this is the first day of "super doubles" that i shopped at the mooresville harris teeter. the first 3 days, i shopped at the davidson location. my coupons were scanned, doubled, no problem.
today, in mooresville, the cashier looked at each coupon and set aside the ones that said "do not double". then she called the manager to over-ride them so that, even though they started with a 5 and would have doubled, they were subtracted at face value!
so, choose your coupons wisely before you go the mooresville harris teeter.

target sales, here today, gone tomorrow.

my good friend called me today about a strawberry sale at target.
on sale for 1.25$...use the 1$/1 target printable for 25¢ strawberries!
e said that the cashier gave her a hard time about wanting to use 2 coupons on 2 packs of strawberries. now, i know it says "limit one per transaction", but i have never had that enforced before. so beware.
also blueberries were $1.99.

i went for laura's lean beef patties. on sale for $3.99 and i found a 1$ printable here.
great deal. or so i thought...
i get to target, now mind you, i had just been there wednesday.

i need to pay more attention!

just a head's up that the cheese deal does not start until FRIDAY!
i guess i just assume things like this are gonna run with their weekly schedule.
and you know what happens when you assume!

there was a tearpad in the cheese section for 50¢/1.
(coupon says 2% cheese, but it works fine with no beeps on the regular kind).

so i don't feel bad about using all my coupons... and 47¢ cheese is an awesome deal.

btw, the coupon penguin is at the mooresville harris teeter! a couple good coupons, see what you find. a lot of 1$ ones, maybe good for super doubles!
